Privacy policy
Last updated 18 October 2026
Milot ("we", "us") is an app that helps you earn more air miles from your credit cards, run from Singapore. This policy explains what we collect, why, who else sees it, and the choices you have. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
For any question or request about your data, email hello@milot.app.
What we collect
Your account. Your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google or Apple; the sign-in method you used.
Your cards. Which credit cards you hold (for example "UOB Preferred Platinum"), any bonus categories you pick, and your settings. We never ask for full card numbers, expiry dates or security codes. Bank alerts sometimes include the last 4 digits of a card; we keep those to tell your cards apart.
Your purchases. Purchases you log, or that Milot logs from your bank's alerts or Apple Pay: the shop, amount, currency, date, category, which card paid, whether you paid by phone, and the miles earned. Category corrections you make, so Milot remembers them for that shop.
Bank alerts and Apple Pay taps you send us. If you set up alert forwarding, the full text of each bank text or email you forward, including the sender. One-time passcodes are recognised and discarded without being stored. If you set up the Apple Pay automation, the amount, currency, shop name and Wallet card name of each tap.
Feedback. What you write in "Have any feedback?", the email address you give, and the app version and device type.
Why we use it
To show which card earns the most miles, track your bonus caps and log your purchases; to read the bank alerts and Apple Pay taps you send; to answer your feedback and support requests; and to keep the service secure and working. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers, only for the purposes above:
| Provider | What for | What they see |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Storing your account and data, and sign-in | Everything listed above |
| Google / Apple | Signing in, if you choose them | Your sign-in details, as set by Google or Apple |
| Anthropic (Claude) | Reading a bank alert Milot's own rules don't recognise | The text of that one alert. Anthropic does not train its models on it. |
| Resend | Sending sign-in codes, and delivering feedback to us | Your email address; for feedback, your message |
| Exchange-rate provider | Converting foreign purchases to SGD | Currency codes only, no personal data |
Some of these providers may process data outside Singapore. Where they do, we rely on their contractual commitments to protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have a Milot account. When you delete your account, we delete your data as described below. Feedback is kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your choices and rights
Delete your account: in Milot, open the menu on your Wallet and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, cards, purchases, bank alerts, feedback and settings from our systems, and removes the data stored on your phone.
Stop sending alerts: turn off the automation in the Shortcuts app, or turn off alert forwarding in Milot. You can also change your private link at any time.
Access and correction: you can see and edit your cards and purchases in the app. To request a copy of your data, or to correct anything you can't change yourself, email us.
Withdraw consent: you can stop using Milot and delete your account at any time. We respond to requests within 30 days.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and each person's data is only accessible to them when signed in. Your private alert link is a long random key; you can change it in the app if you think someone else has it.
Children
Milot is for people old enough to hold a credit card in Singapore. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
Not financial advice
Milot's card information and recommendations are general information, not financial advice. Card rates and terms change often: check with your bank. Milot isn't affiliated with the banks shown.
